Tamil community consists of about 200 people living in Kinshasa, the capital of the country. We are very glad register here that we do have Idols of a favorite Lord of Tamils, Lord Muruhan in this temple. This idol was made out of Black Granite stones carved by one of the artist from Chennai. It is Mr.K.Sathyaseelan, one of our community’s senior member who has donated this Idol to this Temple. Also, we do have “Thirupathi Balaji” in this temple along with “Mahalakshmi” donated by Mr.Balaji Prabhakar. We do celebrate almost all the Tamil celebrations of Lord, which includes “Thai Poosam”, “Thai Pongal”, “Vaikunda Egathesi”, “Thirupazhiezhuchi”, “Periya Karthigai”, “Varalakshmi Nonbu”, “Tamil New Year” and “pradhosham”.

We are glad to register here that we conduct Bhajans and Abishekams in this temple, on alternative sundays with the help and contribution of our community members. The services to Lord is being carried out with the help of Tamil Brahmin Devotees in the presence and the guidance of our Temple’s MAGARAJ.

Tamil community is having an informal association called TYCA, where all the Tamils irrespective of religion gets together for the common cause and the common celebration of the Tamils.
